On Sunday 6th April 2014, Adam Mason and Ollie Terry successfully completed the Paris marathon on behalf of the Wendy Gough Cancer Awareness Foundation.
WGCAF is a charity close to Adam’s heart after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer following hearing one of Wendy’s awareness talks at his school in the year 2000. Adam feels that if it wasn’t for the dedication of Wendy and by chance her coming to his school 14 years ago, he wouldn’t be here today. Fortunately Adam is not the only success story and WGCAF was set up to ensure there would be many more survivors.
Many thanks to Adam and Ollie for their amazing effort!
